[E-Textile] Sophia

For this e-textile, my concept was to create an alien spaceship / UFO that has blinking colored lights that alternate in color. The materials used include:

• Felt / Fabric [of various colors]

• Conductive Thread

• Sewing needles

• Lillypad LEDs

• Lillypad Arduino Board

One of the main challenges I faced with this project is the circuit on the back created with the conductive thread. It was difficult to make sure the positive and negative threads did not touch. In order to solve this problem, I sewed an extra patch of black fabric over the negative stitches so the positive thread could easily be sewn over this without worrying about overlapping.
